13/07/22 Junior Coaching session #7 Todber Manor
Fees £11 (£5.00 for coaching fee, £6.00 for pegging fee) Please bring the correct amount if possible. Start 10:30 Finish 16:00 (If circumstances permit, too hot) Coaching topics: Shallow fishing with rod and Pole. Bait requirements: 6 & 8mm Pellets. Micros (2mm) for the feeder Luncheon Meat.
With weights being regularly caught of well in excess of 250 – to 300lbs in matches, Todber requires an awful lot of bait to be competitive. However, this is just a coaching session, so we can lower the horizon a little for Saturday. I imagine that you will need at least 1kg of each size of pellet You can bring maggots if you wish to, but they used in such large quantities that even I can’t afford them! (Someone brought 23 pints to a match once!) Obviously, we won’t be needing that many for coaching and there is a shop on site should you wish to buy any. That goes for pellets too…
IT IS GOING TO BE HOT!
Bring plenty of fluids, definitely a hat, sunglasses if you have them, and don’t forget your sun cream. Cover up if you can.
If it does get too much, I will bring the session to a close early. But, if we’re sensible, we should be ok…
